With AuctionClick, you can bid on items in traditional auctions from anywhere in the world!

What does AuctionClick live system do?

We bring the auction to you! With our unique blend of technology and tradition, we allow you to bid in traditional auctions without leaving the comfort of your home. Dying to find the last piece to complete your collection? Interested in a specific type if merchandise? Now you can access it!

We offer two great ways to bid:

1.      Place an absentee bid. All of our events are absentee bid-enabled. Simply tell us the maximum you are willing to pay for a piece and we make sure that you bid is placed up to that maximum.

2.      Bid Live! A number of our events are available for live bidding via our exclusive webcast technology. On event day, simply sign in to our site to catch the action as it occurs. Hear the auctioneer's call, see the bidding, place the bid!

So, how do I do this?

Start by previewing the online catalog for upcoming auctions.

You can find items for upcoming auctions by selecting an event from the AuctionClick Event Calendar, located at http://auctionclick.com. Selecting an event will place you on the Event Details page. Click on "View Inventory" for a complete inventory list. Just select the thumbnail image or name of the item that you are interested in for a complete description and picture.

Sign up to bid - Membership is easy - just follow these two steps.

1.      Sign up with AuctionClick  Auctions - Just select an ID and password! It is that easy. Once you've done this, you can start receiving email messages on upcoming events (unless of course you don't want friendly updates) and you can register for any AuctionClick auction.

2.      Register for the specific auction in which you are interested in bidding. After signing up with AuctionClick Auctions, select the event or events that interest you from your Event Status page and complete the registration form. If you are a returning bidder, select "Check your event status" from the upper left portion of your screen after signing in. Complete the registration form. Either way, you will receive an email message when you are approved. If you don't receive a message before the day of the event, check your status to verify if the auction house has approved your registration. If the auction house has approved you to bid in the event, the link will display "approved" in the Status field. If you are not approved, contact the auction house directly to inquire.

Place an absentee bid to start bidding today!

You must register separately for each event in which you wish to bid. Once you have registered, you will find a "Place an Absentee Bid" box on the description pages of items available for your preview. From this box, simply enter the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for this item. Note that your bid will be recorded but not considered competitive until your registration has been approved by the auction house. This means that your bid will not take effect online prior to or during the live event unless you have been approved by the auction house for bidding.

How to bid live in an event.

Many of our events feature a live webcast on the day of the event. For these auctions, you can bid live as the event occurs. On the day of the auction, go to our home page, http://www.auctionclick.com. A flashing indicator will signal a live webcast from the event calendar. To catch the action, click on the live webcast event. This opens a page that details the particular event. You can decide to bid, watch or listen to the auction; simply click on the appropriate selection. Note: you do not need to be registered for the auction to watch or listen, but you must be registered and approved to bid live.

After signing in to bid, place a bid on an item by clicking on the gray Bid button. This is synonymous to raising your bidder paddle on the auction floor as the auctioneer calls the bid. If you are the leading bidder, your username will be displayed. Note: While the action you see on the screen is in real-time, the audio of the auctioneer's call is slightly delayed. (To learn why this is, click here). Because this may be confusing, we recommend that you turn off the audio when bidding.

Stop, look, and listen to a live event!

You don't need to be registered to watch or listen. On the day of the auction, go to our home pagehttp://www.auctionclick.com. Select the name of the event that you are interested in. Clicking on the "Watch" button will allow you to view the action as it occurs at the auction house. Clicking on the "Listen" button will launch the RealAudio broadcast of the event. Doing so will let you hear the auctioneer's call, just as though you were physically attending the event!

Please note that you cannot bid from this screen.
